Our Story

We built a school we wished had existed when we were learning

Neuronest was founded on a simple belief: learning technical subjects does not have to feel stressful or rushed. Patient instruction and honest feedback make all the difference.

Who We Are

Neuronest — built from the learner's point of view

Neuronest started in 2021 when a small group of software practitioners in Bangkok realised that the online education landscape had plenty of fast-paced courses and very few that gave learners the time and support they actually needed. We had all experienced the frustration of moving through material too quickly, submitting work to faceless portals, and receiving no real feedback.

Our first course — a gentle introduction to Python — ran with fifteen learners. We kept sessions asynchronous so people could study around work and family. We answered every question in detail. We revised the course notes when something was not clear. That careful approach has stayed with us as we have grown.

Today Neuronest offers three structured programmes covering the full journey from a first Python programme to building and deploying AI applications. Our learners are professionals, career changers, recent graduates and curious individuals — united by wanting to learn properly rather than quickly.

Our Mission

Make technical learning feel accessible and worthwhile

Clarity over cleverness

We explain things plainly. If a concept needs more than one attempt to become clear, we try a different explanation. We do not assume prior knowledge beyond what we have stated at the start of each course.

Honest expectations

We do not promise outcomes. We describe what you will study and what you will build. What you do with those skills is yours to decide. Learning takes effort and we say so.

A clear path through

The three courses form a coherent progression. A complete beginner can move through all three and arrive at a level where they can build and deploy working AI applications — without needing to shop around for different providers at each stage.

The People

Meet the team

A small group of practitioners and educators who spend more time improving course materials than writing about themselves.

AT

Aroon Thongchai

Lead Instructor & Founder

Aroon worked as a data engineer in Bangkok before founding Neuronest. He wrote the curriculum for all three programmes and leads the machine learning and deployment tracks.

NW

Naphat Worasin

Python Instructor

Naphat specialises in introductory programming education. She developed the beginner Python course and reviews all written notes to ensure they stay approachable and accurate.

SK

Siriporn Kawila

Community & Learner Support

Siriporn manages the learner community and handles enrolment enquiries. She ensures questions get answered and that the environment stays welcoming for people at all levels.

Our Standards

How we maintain quality across all courses

Every course goes through a consistent review process before and during delivery to keep content accurate, clear and useful.

Curriculum review cycle

Course materials are reviewed every six months to reflect changes in tools and practices. Learners enrolled in active courses receive updated notes at no extra cost.

Written feedback on exercises

Submitted exercises receive a written response from an instructor — not a score against a rubric. Feedback explains what worked, what could be clearer and suggests next steps.

Learner data protection

We collect only the information needed to deliver and support courses. We do not share personal data with third parties for advertising. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Open-source tools only

Every library and tool used in the courses is free and publicly available. Learners are not required to purchase software or subscribe to paid services to complete their work.

Accessible course materials

Written notes accompany every recorded lesson. Learners who prefer to read rather than watch can follow the full course through text alone, making the content more accessible.

Accurate course descriptions

What we describe on the enrolment page is what learners find in the course. We keep descriptions current and do not add content post-purchase without updating the description first.

Practical AI education, structured for learners in Thailand and beyond

Neuronest operates as an online school, which means learners anywhere with a reasonable internet connection can participate. Our address is in Chatuchak, Bangkok — where the founding team works — but most of what we do reaches people across Thailand and neighbouring countries.

The courses cover three distinct levels of Python and artificial intelligence development. The first programme introduces programming from scratch using Python, one of the most widely used languages in data and AI work. Lessons are deliberately paced, with exercises that build on each other in small steps. There is no assumption that learners know what a variable is before they start.

The second programme moves into machine learning using open-source libraries. It is designed for people who already have a working grasp of Python and want to understand how to build, test and compare predictive models. The emphasis is on understanding what a model is doing rather than treating tools as black boxes.

The third programme addresses the practical side of AI development — how to handle data reliably, how to evaluate a model's behaviour, and how to put a working system into use. This is the stage that many learners find least well covered elsewhere, and we have invested significant time in making it clear and methodical.

Across all three courses, the teaching philosophy is the same: explain carefully, show examples, ask learners to build something small, and provide honest feedback on their work. We are a small school and we intend to remain one — large enough to be sustainable, small enough to remain attentive.
